My guess is that because I had already downloaded and used mods on Linux, the Windows installation got confused somehow. Delete that. Civ5 Custom Civilizations Not Showing If this doesn't work, then I'm sorry, but I'm clueless and don't know why it's being dumb. =( HOWEVER, if this issue is actually for a Mod you've downloaded for the This usually works for me, especially when I know an updated mod is available, since those little "mod update" tages haven't been showing up for me in over a month.
Now I have the game installed on a folder other than C so I knew I had to go to My Documents\My Games folder to find the mod files. This fixed it for me. Until they fix it the only way to make sure they are all installed is to go to your subscription list and make sure the number of subs you have match Posts that ask for, link to, or advocate piracy in any way will be removed.
